Paragliding

Fly-Free-Consideration

Clearly recognizable to us as paragliders, ibexes, chamois and ptarmigans are irritated: Is that a golden eagle circling above me? The (mis)assessment that so many more natural enemies are lurking in the air causes stress and a corresponding loss of energy - especially in winter, of course. In the worst case, the animals are driven away to an area that does not offer enough food. And that can ultimately lead to the death of the animals.

Therefore:
•    fly only in designated flying areas
•    Do not fly over known forest-wildlife sanctuaries in winter. (Interactive map)
•    avoid early morning and evening flights to avoid disturbing the animals while they are foraging.
